One step at the time
YES, another step to achieve my new year resolution.
Not a six figure yet but it will be eventually. By then, I can cross the new year resolution.
Had the mid week PDT and it's pretty interesting guest speaker , one of them is Jack Daly (http://jackdaly.net/) . He mentioned that if you want to achieve any goal , the simplest step you can take is "PUT IT IN WRITING" . I found out this is so TRUE...... what I did write last year and I achieved it.
I guessed when you writing it , you kinda put some effort and commitment towards it! It gives you a direction on what you should do. He said the next step will be break into the small little action that you can measure on with specific deadlines.
Deadlines is a MAD key word in all corporate history , do you know WHY?
Without it , ppl won't have sense of urgency and just take their time. In the environment where all been measured by profit and cost , it just doesn't add up if you work without deadlines.
Imagine this happens :
You've been given 3months to finish the assignment , what most ppl will do ?
I bet you know the answer , waited for 2 1/2 month before started to look into it. How's inefficient ?
If you have only 1day to finish it , you'll definitely start it ASAP.
I always think that my life is my own corporation. I am running my own so-called "board of director" as to what I will decide in my life . I created my own sense of urgency and deadlines on achieving my goals.

Miss Him so Much
It has been two weeks since I came back from the holiday.
Life pretty hectic since then , workload is getting more and more by the day that including my catch-up work. Got to finish the work late all day. The impact : GF is not happy!!!
Adjusting the sleep at the first couple of day is hard , I think this is the very 1st time I had jetlag.
I guessed all of this are the downsize having a well-earned holiday.
Talkin' about the holiday. It has been a great one tho It could be better without spent half an hour in the emergency unit in the hospital 'coz the food poisoning. The other thing was the "A" Plan is not working out as I wanted before I left.It's kinda sad but I think it was a reality check for me to be a better man! I'll make it happen next time arround.
The one that I realized that I spent more time with my family this time than my previous holiday. It's kinda nice in a way! I played with my little nephew who I really MISS-ed dearly. The way he tried to speak and how he pretended crying so one of us can pick him up from the baby walker. I missed the way he laughed ....... very very....genuine. I took tons of his pictures.

Another day in the sauna
Hell man!
My branch's aircon was break down for 1week already, shitt ass! With the sweltering temperature in summer ,it's aint good idea to stay long time there.So?
I choose to do my ritual in casino than doing it in the branch. Hahaha,its cooler down here.
Today is my last day in the office before 3week holiday in indo. Jetting tomolo to merlion city and i'll be float arround in the airport like the terminal movie for 6hours.So my next post will be from there!

New Year Resolution
Yes............another year to get my new year resolution.
I set myself with high standard on this year resolution, some ppl think it can be "TOO NAIVE " but I think it is " OPTIMISTIC".
Okay , Let me start then:
1. OBVIOUSLY ,the left behind '08 resolution, buying my 1st property regardless if my other half doesn't want it! Its my CHOICE.
2. Getting my bonus this financial year - It should be the FAT $$$ one !!
3.Aiming for another promotion by September or my boss giving a pay rise to say the least. I am aiming for six figure salary package by the end of the year. *AMEN - all my smart and hard work will lead there sooner than later*
4.Going for holiday with all of my family whether in Indo or some part of this continent.
5. Married?(*#&$*()&@^%^ in the balance - if everything sweet , they shall happen this year!
6. Oh...oh.... lastly , I will try to find my GOD - I'll find this is the hardest out of all . I found that you need a place to rest your soul , sometimes you find that money and love is not enough to be happy in your life. That what I found out a couple of time last year.
As a person , I will :
*. Be more receptive with the constructive suggestion and advise.
*. Be more SELF DRIVEN not rely on something or someone - I know what I want out of my life and I'll drive myself go to that finishing road.
*. Be more decisive - I'll make a decision by the same day with proper thinking obviously.
*. Be more caring with my family and friends - "YES YONG, you gotta call them regularly NOT when you need them" .
*. Be more engaged with the people around you - building up more networking day in day out.
