Work Smarter not Harder

I've heard this sentence over and over again either through work or friends.

I think this is a really powerful message around this sentence that I haven't got it YET.

People ( at least me not to generalize to all public) always think that if you want to success on anything you do , you gotta be work harder. I found it sometimes true. However , you get some constraint on how harder you can work , for instance : tiredness , family commitment and lack of motivation.

Hence, I gotta change my mindset from "work harder " type to "work smarter" type. It is a challenge that I somehow contemplating. The instance I have this week was 80/20 rule which says that all of our activities you will have 20 % success rate and 80 % idle or ineffective activity that won't contribute to the 20% success rate. I gotta start to minimize those activities to get more result, I think it just a matter of cost v benefit analysis on those activities.

Seems easy to write and yet hard to be implemented!
